The lack of early investment in children (0-6) has a life-long impact. It is therefore important to ensure that early childhood is a time of active learning where children achieve important developmental benchmarks. In South Africa over 6 million children are at risk of not being provided with adequate opportunities to obtain these benchmarks. The vision of Unlimited Child is that ALL preschool children attending crèches in South Africa have access to relevant and stimulating activities provided by trained caregivers, which will help them achieve their potential.
